Golding Young is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our full-time saleroom team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop new skills and grow within the auction profession. As you gain experience, your role will evolve, with increasing responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the saleroom team.
Working Hours
Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–1pm and 2pm–5pm. However, flexibility is essential, as start times may vary between 8am and 9am depending on workload.
Additional hours may be required to meet catalogue deadlines and on sale days, with occasional Saturday working to ensure deadlines are met.
Up to six working days per calendar month may also involve working at an alternative site, alongside the wider Golding Young team.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Unpacking and handling incoming goods
- Booking items into the auction system
- Photographing auction lots
- Editing images and entering image data using computer-based systems
- Carrying out auction-related computer work
- Lifting and moving furniture
- Assisting and interacting with customers
