A lovely painting by William Bartol Thomas (1887-1947) will be auctioned at The Grantham Auction Rooms on 6th February 2013.
The artist who was born in Lincolnshire, spent much of his time living in Boston. Many of his paintings feature well known scenes from Boston and the surrounding countryside.
This painting (Lot 402) features a scene from the Boston coastline.
Saleroom Manager, Andrew Doubleday stated: "This is one of three paintings by the artist that we have for sale and is a particularly good example of his work. There is a lot of interest in local artists within the saleroom and we expect this to do well on the day."
The painting is in good condition, supplied framed and is signed by the artist.
