Paul joined the Goldings team in summer 2023.
Paul started his career in auction houses in 1994 at Chiswick Auctions , after having worked for the Ministry of Defence on Contract and for Architects in Cambridge, Birmingham, and Market Harborough.
Starting in 1994 as a Porter, quickly learned how to catalogue and value.
In 1998 he joined Academy Auctioneers and Valuers in Ealing becoming Saleroom Manager and Auctioneer. During this time filming for Auction House, an ITV programme shown over a period of six weeks, was conducted and aired.
From 1998-2002 there was a brief change in career, but the pull of auctions soon drew him back in. He was appointed Saleroom Manager at a Stamford based firm from 2008-2013.
A Valuer's position then opened up at Willingham Auctions in Cambrdigeshire, for which Paul was appointed between 2013-2019.
A short stint as Auctioneer & Valuer at Ewbank's Auctions Surrey was shortly followed by his appointment as Saleroom Manager at Grantham.
Paul is a General Valuer, with specific interst in Paintings, Militaria and Silver. He is our Grantham Saleroom Manager.
