Gary stated his career at The Bourne Auction Rooms in 1985 when he joined Lyall & Co as a porter.
He also worked part time at Bourne Motor Auctions.
He was appointed Head Porter since the Golding Young merger with Richardsons in 2013.
It is fair to say that if Gary has not seen it, it has probably never been to auction!
In November 2020 and after 35 years at Bourne his skills were transferred to The Lincoln Auction Rooms.
He is is often the first point of contact booking in consignments, listening to clients and a listing entries. He is also often the last person in the process assisting buyers with their collections.
