Emily started with us part-time when at Nottingham University in 2012, where she completed her two degrees, firstly in English Studies, followed by a Masters, with a focus on linguistics. Her dissertation was on Auction Language.
After graduating, she became full-time in 2016, working across all of our offices, gaining a full understanding of the profession.
Her training evolved around the sale calendar rotation, combining tasks of live bidding operative, saleroom and administration assistant from front of house, reception, to back room administration and also photography.
In 2017, she was promoted to become our Saleroom Manager at Lincoln.
In September 2019, Emily completed the NAVA Propertymark level 3 Technical Award in Chattels Auctioneering. In October 2019, she became a fully qualified member of the National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers.
During 2022, she was appointed as Head of Department for Grantham.
In 2023, she became the Head of Department for Bourne.
In April 2026, she enrolled as a student member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers & Valuers. On 23rd April 2026, Emily took to the rostrum at Lincoln to conduct her very first auction sale, putting 80 lots under the hammer.
