Forthcoming Lincolnshire Sale

27th September 2016

We are hosting our annual Lincolnshire sale on Saturday 1st October. Aptly planned for Lincolnshire Day the sale will take place in our new premises in Thos Mawer House, Station Road in North Hykeham, Lincoln. We have a wide variety of item ranging from maps, prints, books and original works to crested china.

Perhaps one of the more unusual items is a mahogany wall plaque. Applied with a revolving 1st World War period propeller, the piece carries the emblems of the Ruston Works in Lincoln, the Lincoln Imp and also has a bi-plane. Estimated to make in excess of £200 the piece would undoubtedly have strong interest from local collectors.

One of the most macabre items in the auction is a human jaw. By repute it was found bricked up in a property on Old Place in Sleaford; the piece is believed to date from 1860.

The sale is to be held on Saturday 1st October at The Lincoln Auction Rooms in Lincoln. Viewing is on Friday 31st September from 2pm until 6pm and on saleday from 8.30am until 10am.
