Colin Young takes part in historic parade of Rover 200 BRMs

9th June 2015

Our Bourne Auction Rooms are steeped in BRM heritage, as one of the former workshops for the iconic team.

Last month Colin was invited to the BRM Associations's annual track day at Blyton Park, Gainsborough along with over 200 BRMA members and their guests.

Attendees were able to see a wide range of BRM vehicles including the Rover-BRM gas turbine prototype which was on loan for the day from the Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon.

Included in the parade laps was a parade of 10 Rover 200 BRMs, which was led by our very own Colin Young.

"A former airfield in Lincolnshire is an apt place to enjoy the sights and sounds of BRM racing cars in action." says Classic Car Weekly's associate editor David Brown. You can read more about the day in David's article. Just click on the image to view the article.
