Andrew Doubleday, manager of the Grantham Saleroom of Golding Young & Mawer, lead a team in a charity golf day earlier this month.
The annual event, now in its 23rd year, was organised by Duncan & Toplis accountants and took place at Belton Woods Golf Club near Grantham on Friday, July 5.
The event raised £4,000 which was divided equally between the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and Newark and Nottinghamshire Child Bereavement and Loss Centre (Sue's Place).
Mr Doubleday is a keen golfer but said this was the first time he had been involved with the charity event.
"It was great fun," he said.
"Sadly the quality of play from our team did not match the quality of the weather, which was glorious; we languished mid-table throughout.
"But it was a wonderful event to be a part of and great to know it raised such a lot of money for two very worthwhile causes."
Next year's event will be held on Friday, July 4 at Belton Woods.
