With The Bourne Auction Rooms being the home of the BRM Formula One team from the 1950’s to the 1980’s there is clearly no better place to find interesting memorabilia for the marque.

Devoted collectors always turn to Golding Young when it is time to pass on their treasures to the next generation.

The sale on the 24th of June 2026 was no exception, and an eclectic mix of items came under the hammer. Lot 1 in the sale was a Corgi Toys 152 boxed model selling for £35 followed by two BRM engine rocker covers selling for £260 and £320.

Posters are always popular and a British Grand Prix poster for 1967 with Graham Hill in a BRM sold for £100 followed by an Oulton Park poster with Pedro Rodrigues also hitting three figures.

There was plenty of competition for everything but notably a 1970’s wheel with a slick Goodyear tyre selling for £260. If only we had a set of four... or even better one of the cars!

It was also great to see an original member's car badge and pin badge from BRMA (British Racing Motors Association) selling for £60.

The passion of collectors and enthusiast has gone full circle with the BRM mark still active in motorsport with the original Owen family and now there are approximately 150 members of the current BRMA of which the author of this is proud to be a member.
